The Mississauga Marathon is a run that encompasses much of Mississauga’s beauty. This point to point course is a fast net downhill. The course starts at Mississauga’s City Hall, and makes its way west across the Credit River to Mississauga Road and then travels south for a beautiful stretch past the University of Toronto’s Mississauga Campus, Mississauga Golf and Country Club, and continues through some of Mississauga’s most beautiful residential neighbourhoods, before winding along the scenic Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail, and back along Lakeshore Rd. to Lakefront Promenade Park.

  • Aid Stations at approximately every 2km mark
  • Fluids at all stations: Gatorade and water
  • Other aid at stations: Vaseline, bandages

Please Note: The Mississauga Marathon course will be open for 6.5 hours this May 6th 2012. A rolling clear will occur at the rate of slightly over 9 minutes/ kilometre (14:30 min/mile). Participants moving slower than this pace will be asked by Police to move onto the sidewalk and proceed to the finish line obeying regular pedestrian road rules.

Please Note: If you register in the walking division of this event you must walk the entire race distance. There will be no prizing in the walking division but separate results will be posted for walkers.
